Exo - An Indie Shooter by SpikeJap Studios

Olá! Estou de volta para falar de mais um jogo feito pelo meu namorado e por amigos meus (SpikeJap Studio)!

Desta vez estão a participar na #bananajam e precisam do vosos voto! É um concurso anual feito pelos NerdMonkeys, tal como é indicado na página do concurso. O prémio inclui 2000€ em dinheiro, um voucher de 150$ em game assets e o líder da equipa recebe um Mobile Phone da Microsoft.

O nome do jogo é Exo. De acordo com SpikeJap Studio, é um jogo de plataformas que se inspirou na série Megaman X. Tudo o que temos de fazer é dar tiros nos bad guys e chegar ao fim onde se luta o boss. O jogo tem dois modos, o de Aventura, onde se joga até ao boss e o jogo acaba, e o Endless Mode, que se baseia em apenas correr pelo stage e dar tiros sem fim.

Este jogo foi criado em dois meses para este concurso. Vítor, que fez a arte, trabalhou full-time para o jogo, enquanto Jorge intercalou a programação deste jogo com o trabalho e Nuno intercalou o design com a tese que anda a fazer.

Hello! I'm back to talk about another game made by my boyfriend and some friends of mine (SpikeJap Studio)!

This time they are participating in #bananajam and they need your vote! It's a annual game jam organized by NerdMonkeys, as they say on the contest's page. The prize is "2000€ in cash plus a voucher of 150$ of game assets to be distributed equally between all team members and the team leader will be rewarded with a Microsoft Mobile phone".

The game's name is Exo. According to SpikeJap Studio,is a "platformer which is heavily tailored from the Megaman X series". All you have to do is "to shoot the bad guys and get to the end of the stage where you will fight the boss". The game has two modes: Aventure Mode and Endless Mode. The first is where you can find the boss and finish the game. The other is where you can simply run and shoot endlessly.

This game was created in two months for the contest.  Vítor, who made the art, worked full-time for this game, while Jorge, the programmer, had few hours per day for this game because he works, and Nuno had to work for this game at the same time he is working on his thesis.

Purina One Cat / Purina One Gato

Olá a todos! Estou de volta para vos falar sobre a nova campanha Youzz sobre a Purina One Gato. Para vos falar da Purina One, vou falar do Pantufa.

O Pantufa é o gato do meu namorado. Ele adora correr, explorar, ser o lord da casa e... comer, claro!

Ultimamente, ele estava a ficar um bocadinho gordo e comia com alguma ansiedade. Ainda assim, às vezes ele não gostava assim tanto da comida e não comia a ração que já estivesse pelo segundo dia na taça dele. 

A Youzz deu-me Purina One Gato, de acordo com o perfil do Pantufa (é adulto, macho e não foi castrado). Eu recebi o suficiente para 3 semanas e ainda algumas amostras e vales que dei aos meus amigos que têm gatos.

Eu já conhecia a marca Purina. É a marca que a veterinária dos meus cães usa e eles devoram aquilo sempre que lá vão. Já sabia que à partida o Pantufa ia adorar comer Purina e que ia ficar ainda mais ansioso com a hora de comer, dado que agora a ração iria saber bem!

Resultados que obtive: o Pantufa ficou viciado na comida, nunca miou tanto por comida como quando havia Purina em casa; não deixava ração na tacinha, comia tudo e com o focinho bem enfiado para não correr o risco da comida ser roubada; ele adorou a comida e o pêlo melhorou! Tinha um aspeto baço e sem vida, agora está liso e com brilho.Também os outros gatos que comeram as amostras ficaram viciados e adoraram a ração!

O meu veredicto: de facto os animais gostam da comida, e isso é bom, principalmente porque é comida processada. O pêlo fica bonito, sim. Mas acho estranho os animais ficarem tão viciados, fico com ideia que a comida tem algum produto próprio para os deixar viciados. E não sei se comprarei Purina algum dia, é muito cara e raramente está em promoção. Ainda assim, o Pantufa ficou grato pelas 3 semanas de Purina One. :)

Hello, everybody! I'm back here to talk to you about the new Youzz campaign about Purina One for cats. To talk to you about Purina One, I'm going to talk to you about Pantufa.

Pantufa is my boyfriend's cat. He loves to run, to explore, to be the master of the house and... to eat, of course!

Lately, he was getting a bit fat and he ate with a bit of anxiety. Still, sometimes he didn't enjoy the food that much and didn't eat the food on the second day that stayed on his bowl.

Youzz gave me Purina One Cat, according to Pantufa's profile (he's adult, male, not castrated). I received the enough for 3 weeks and some samples and vouchers that I gave to some friends whom also have cats.

I already knew the brand. Purina is what my dogs' vet uses and when they go there they devour the food. I already knew that Pantufa would love Purina and that he would get more anxious abot dinner time, since the meal would taste well!

The results I got: Pantufa got addicted to Purina, he never meowed that much asking for food; he didn't left any piece of meal on the bowl after he finished eating, he ate everything and with his snout inside the bowl so he wouldn't be stolen; he loved the food and his hair got better! It looked like it was lustreless and without life, but now it glows and it's straight. Also, the other cats that received my samples got crazy about Purina, they enjoyed so much!

What I have to say about Purina One: indeed the animals enjoy the food, and it's difficult to buy something they really like, specially processed food. The hair looks good, yes. But I think it's strange the fact that the animals get so addicted, I get the idea that the food has some product that makes them get addicted. And I don't think I'm going to buy Purina one day, because it's too expensive. Nevertheless, Pantufa thanks the 3 weeks of Purina One!
